A First Class Venue, centrally located, overlooking Albert Park Lake. Only minutes from Melbourne’s C.B.D. and just five minutes from Port Phillip Bay, with access to all areas of Melbourne, particularly sporting and recreational facilities.

The Sebel on Albert Park (which is present under-going a multi- million dollar refurbishment) offers accommodation, restaurants and bars, security parking, specialty shops, fully equipped gymnasium and pool and all-weather night and day tennis courts and 18 hole golf course opposite.


ACCOMMODATION:

The Sebel on Albert Park is offering our delegates the special price of $131.00 per standard room per night (double or twin share), $168.00 for a superior room and $198.00 for an executive suite, breakfast is an additional $20.00 per person per night. When making your reservation, please state that you are a delegate of the Tattoo Convention.

TICKETS:

600 tickets will be made available @ $125.00ea. These will include the Presentation Dinner incorp. a buffet dinner, beer, wine and soft drink {spirits at bar prices} and live entertainment. These also include entry to the Expo Rooms over the three days. “All inclusive”

DAY PASSES:

Day passes will be available on each day at a cost of $15.00 per day. These tickets will allow the holder entry to the Expo Rooms between the hours of 10am to 6pm., and will include the judging, all food and beverage amenities and a chance to win some great door prizes.

TATTOO BOOTHS:

Booths will be available at a cost of $400.00ea. for the three days – P.T.A.A. Inc. Members or affiliated overseas artists only. Booths will be available to non P.T.A.A. artists at a cost of $600.00 for the three days. An autoclave, ultrasonic cleaner, running water, cleaning facilities and washable surfaces, tables and chairs will be included in booth pricing. D.H.S. Guidelines must be followed and professional presentation is essential. Tattoo Booths must be maintained during the hours of 10am. till 6pm. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Artists wanting to work longer hours may do so until approx. 10/11pm. on the Friday and till approx. 8pm. on the Sunday, at which time, only artists and pre-booked clients, officials included, will be admitted to the work area (Expo Room).

TRADE STALLS:

Trade stalls will also be available at a cost of $300.00ea. for the three days from 10am. till 6pm. each day. Several other stalls will be made available for “Business Representatives”.

BOOKINGS:

Tattoo and/or Trade Stalls must be booked as soon as possible. A deposit of $100.00 or full payment must be made immediately, with any remaining monies owing paid by 21st March, 2008.

AGENDA:


FRIDAY:... Expo (tattoo booths and trade stalls) opens 10am through to 6pm. (Tattoo Artists may continue working through till 10/11pm. at which time only the Artists, their Clients and Officials will be allowed entry to the work area.)
8pm.: A. G. M. to be held in the Belair Room.
SATURDAY:... Expo opens 10am through to 6pm. Contestant registration commences at 10am. (provisions may yet be made for Friday registration times.) Tattoo Competition judging commences 1pm. Dinner and Presentations commences at 7pm and concludes at midnight.

SUNDAY:... Expo opens 10am through to 6pm. (Again the Artists will be allowed to work through but only to 9pm. max.)

DINNER AND PRESENTATIONS:

With the success of our 2006 Masquerade Ball, it has been decided that the 2007 Convention will be highlighted by a “MAD HATTERS BALL” – that’s right, casual, cool or just downright crazy, hats will be the theme. (And yes, for those who don’t have, won’t have a hat….they will be on sale in the Expo Room.)

DRESS CODE:

Friday, Saturday and Sunday Expo – casual dress Saturday evening Dinner and Presentations – formal – with a hat! We hope all members and their guests will adhere to the dress code, and make the effort for this special occasion.

SPONSORSHIP:

We do, as at each such event, invite Members to sponsor trophies for the various Tattoo Competition categories. We also invite other Businesses, Clubs, Friends, Etc. as Sponsors We are seeking $200.00 per category but are also pleased to accept sponsorship donations of $100.00 or even $50.00.

MACHINE RAFFLE:

We are always appreciative of donations for the Artists only raffles. Tattoo Machines, design sheets or other such supplies are always most appreciated.

HAMPERS:

Again we are aiming at making up two or three hampers for the ‘general raffles’. Donations of studio tee-shirts, caps, lighters, tattoo magazines, etc., etc., even a bottle of booze or a box of chocies would be great, all donations will be greatly appreciated.
